Before a Jeep® 4x4 is worthy of our name, we test it on some of the toughest off-road areas in the world, including Moab and the famed Rubicon Trail. There are two Trail Rated® 4WD systems to choose from: the tough-as-nails Command-Trac® and made-for-mountains Rock-Trac®.

This system allows you, by the flip of a switch, to automatically disengage the sway bar when driving under 18 mph in 4LO mode. The front wheels can then drop and compress up to 25 percent further on Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.AGGRESSIVE ANGLES
Rubicon has Best-in-Class ground clearance+ along with Best-in-Class approach and departure angles+. The front air dam is removable to provide added flexibility (better approach angle) when off-roading.DIFFS, AXLES, SWAY BARS & SHOCKS
Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon offers tuneable monotube shock absorbers which feature low speed tunable valve technology that's firm on the rocks and relaxed at higher speeds. Standard Dana 44 front and rear axles are equipped with Tru-Lok® locking differentials, and offer the ultimate in traction. Front axle sway bar-disconnect allows for better articulation off-road.
